Love's Tarot Journal Entry:
There have been King of Wand times in my life when I have been able to set big goals and succeed. What comes to mind is when I made the decision to leave my husband, go back to college, get my degree, and then backpack through Latin America. All of these goals took years of planning, focus, and endurance. I used to talk about what I planned to do in my future then I would not succeed and feel stupid because I did not do what I said I would do. Once, I realized I was only telling other people my plans because subconsciously I needed permission from someone to follow my heart, I began to keep my plans to myself and make arrangements in private, not telling anyone until plans were set in place, careful to not spoil my vision. With a fire in my belly, I set off to the University in my early 40s and got my degree. After that life threw me some really big challenges but I never lost sight of my vision. The divorce was emotionally distracting for a few years but I never lost sight of my dream. Today, that whole experience is behind me. I did it! And, wow, what an amazing experience it was.
