Love's Tarot Journal Entry:
One of my greatest 7 of Pentacles periods in my life was when I went back to college to get my degree in Anthropology. I knew I needed to leave my husband because it was no longer safe for me mentally, emotionally and physically. The plan took several years to complete. First, I had to take a lot of classes at the community college just to be prepared to take the credit classes. It took me three years to finish at the community college level. Then, when I was accepted to attend Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas I packed up my car, grabbed my youngest daughter and moved to the other side of Austin. It took me four more years of endurance to complete my degree. I had to retake my math classes several times, along with working part-time and caring for my children, not to mention my increasingly volatile husband. The closer I got to finishing my degree the more crazy and scary he became. In order to finish my degree I had to overcome many obstacles, be patient, and remain focused on my goal. There were so many times I could have quit and ran away but the closer I got to my goal the more determined I became.
