Ocean Jasper

This crystal from Madagascar, also known as Orbicular Jasper or Sea Jasper, is known for its unique patterns that often resemble orbs or eyes. Ocean Jasper is mined in tidal areas that are only accessible during low tide, which has contributed to its rarity and exclusive character. In Madagascar, Ocean Jasper is not only appreciated as a gemstone but also as a stone of healing and great spiritual significance. As a powerful stone for emotional healing, it's said to encourage the release of pent-up emotions and to bring a sense of tranquility. Its soothing energy is beneficial for those dealing with stress, anxiety, or tension. The stone's patterns and colors can have a calming effect. It’s often associated with the renewing powers of the ocean, helping you let go of the past and embrace the future with confidence. This association culminates with the ebb and flow of the tides.

Additionally, it's also linked to spiritual exploration and connecting with nature, particularly the sea. Therefore, it is an excellent tool to enhance meditation and spiritual journeying. Globally, it's been used in decorative items, jewelry, and art due to its unique beauty. Its appeal lies in its diverse color palette, including greens, pinks, whites, yellows, and even purples. Ocean Jasper is a stone rich in both aesthetic appeal and metaphysical significance. Its connection to the ocean and the natural world makes it a symbol of renewal and emotional balance, cherished in various cultural and spiritual contexts.

In traditional herbal medicine, Damiana has been employed to treat a range of conditions, including anxiety, nervousness, and mild depression. Perhaps the most well-known use of Damiana is as an aphrodisiac. Both the Mayans and Aztecs reportedly used it for this purpose, and it continues to be used for sexual health in modern herbal practices. Love's Tarot Journal Entry:

My 9 of Cups days in my childhood, in retrospection were actually pretty sad. What I could get happy about were actually the opposite of what I should have gotten happy about. Like when my dad would leave to go to work I knew I was now safe and could go back to being my usual shell of a child instead of the hypersensitive and severly frightened child that I am when he is around. It felt like bliss to me when our family was in public because, like a classic psychopath my father could switch on the charm. I was very grateful for these moments. I am safe and I can join in on the delusion that we are an abundantly joyful family. Christmas time was always a time of the most peace for me. I could relax and not be afraid that my daddy would violate me. It was like I had a holiday from being daddy's secret sex slave. Vacations and traveling from Texas to Michigan to visit family was always a time of happiness. My grandma Tobias always made me feel special and cared about. I could play with my cousins and feel the special love that I always got from my parents' sisters. Of course, I was afraid of my uncles simply because they were men. The day my father was arrested was my day of personal acheivement. Finally, now I can be safe. He was released from jail after three nights but my mother was told he is not allowed back in the same house with his daughter so we moved across the country for yet another fleeting moment of safety. My days of joy and happiness during my childhood were fleeting and pathetic but yet they were my best memories.
