Love's Tarot Journal Entry:
I was about 5 years old when I remember hearing my parents yet again, arguing and fighting about money. In that moment my 5 of Pentacles life began. I said to myself I will just make sure I don't need anything. If I don't need anything then maybe they won't fight. In my 5 yr old brain I had the perfect resolution for solving my parents problem. As a little girl, I had no idea how that decision would set my abundance mindset for the rest of my life. My parents did not protect me from all kinds of horrible dangers while growing up. There were always monsters everywhere trying to destroy me. As an adult, once released into the world, the biggest monster was money. Like my parents, it could destroy me or it could catapult me to all kinds of success. No one had ever taught me about money. All I knew is that it was a source of great stress in my family. Many years of my life was spent fearing that which is supposed to care for me. First, my pedophile father, then money. After many years of running away from money I am beginning to make peace with it. It is not easy to recover from such a deep poverty mindset but I am beginning to allow myself to receive the care that money can bring.
