Love's Tarot Journal Entry:
Gardening, growing mostly herbs and vegetables, has given me my Queen of Pentacles experiences. There's nothing like standing in the middle of my own forest of tomatoes, sunflowers, squashes, and endless herbs. Breathe deep and take it all in. I am the Queen of all I have created. When I was a little girl my mother was the Queen in my life. She grew vegetables and flowers in our little Lubbock, Texas backyard. My daughters I am sure, remember my little backyard gardens when they were growing up. I tend to garden everywhere I go. Through Wwwoofing.com and other similar sites, I've traveled to some remote places and have experienced some off-the-beaten-path gardening situations. To just name a few; a coffee farm in Costa Rica, psilocybin mushrooms in Mexico, ayahuasca farming in Panama, and cannabis cultivation and processing in California. My life was filled with gardening, day in and day out, while I was living in the hippie commune. I lived there during the time I was working through the PTSD brought on by the family courts kidnapping my little girl. Every morning I sprung out of my hammock and went straight to the garden to harvest the day's herbs and vegetables. It was my therapy and spiritual connection, my meditation and savior. Nurturing, loving, and caring for those gardens, restored my peace and spirit, daily renewing me and my connection to myself and the earth.
