Love's Tarot Journal Entry:

My turning of the Wheel of Fortune X was when I turned my father into the police and finally told my parents "No more!". Coming out about the evil I was enduring was horrifically frightening. I was barely 13 years old and in the 8th grade. In many ways, that school year was my year of hell. That was the year my father took me from school and then raped me, taking my virginity. I was a shell of a person, a zombie. Around the beginning of May 1976 I told my friend Paula, a year older than me from across the street about my father after she repeatedly made comments about how creepy he seemed and how he "accidentally on purpose" rubs up against her boobs. She told her mother what I had said who then made some phone calls and as a result I was called out of class the next day at school. Before the day was over the police were on a hunt for my monster father. This was a wake-up call for my mother who quickly divorced him. The Wheel had turned and for awhile my life had peace. Eventually I had to wake up my broken spirit again because my mother and family decided I needed to repair my relationship with my father and was therefore forcing me to spend many weekends and holidays with him. I was 15 when I found my voice and turned the Wheel again.
