Today's Journal Entry:
Moving across Texas to begin attending the University at the age of 45 and then later completing my Anthropology degree took everything I had to stay focused until the end. The entire process was scattered with obstacles. It took everything I had in me and then I had to dig deeper to find even more resources within me that I didn't even know I had in order to keep on the path. I had my youngest daughter with me. I juggled classes and studying with taking care of her. My husband had become very toxic over the last several years of our marriage. His fears and paranoia and the resulting rages that he projected onto me frequently knocked the wind out of me. However, I persevered. I worked so very hard and was committed to learning whatever I needed to stay on track. My new focus on working out and taking better care of my body was one of my many coping outlets during this time. Failure was not an option.
